Certain items requiring public hearings may also result in direct mail to individual residents within a notification area and/or posting of notices in the City’s newspaper of record.

The City has adopted the Wise County Messenger as the City’s official newspaper for publication of public notices.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF AURORA

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by the Planning and Zoning
Commission on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. to hear a request by applicant, Bill &
Kelley Vaughan, Lime Green Holdings, LLC., for a change in zoning from PDD (Planned
Development District ) to revised PDD (Planned Development District) for an approximately 4.12-
acre tract of land out of WC Hallmark Survey, Abstract Number 361, generally located at the
southeast corner of the intersection of Hallmark Ln. and Bennett Dr., with the address of 505 Bennett
Dr. Aurora, Texas. (ZC 2023-03). The City Council will conduct a second public hearing on
Monday, November 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the Planning & Zoning Commission’s
recommendations and vote on the request. Any person may attend the public hearings in person at
320 Derting Rd., Aurora, TX 76078 or submit their written comments to [email protected]
prior to 5:00 p.m. on the day of the public hearing. All interested persons are invited to attend and
