“NOTICE OF LAND, IMPROVEMENTS, AND PERSONAL PROPERTY SALE”
NOTICE TO BIDDER TO SELL REAL PROPERTY, IMPROVEMENTS
AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE
STATE OF TEXAS PURSUANT TO COURT ORDER
Sealed bids addressed to Kristi Gilbert, City Administrator for City of Aurora will be received at the 320 Derting Rd. Aurora, TX 76078, until 12:00 noon on Monday October 27, 2025, for the acquisition of .7728 acres of land, improvements and personal property owned by the State, located at 100 North Madison Street in Aurora, Texas, and described as the following subject property:
Lot 1, Block 1, Old Town Square Addition (the “Property”)
The State is selling the Property pursuant to a Court Order by and through the Wise County District Attorney’s Office. The Property currently includes associated improvements which will be included in the sale. The Property is being sold “as-is where-is” and no warranty of any kind will be provided. The Property will be conveyed via Deed Without Warranty.
In order to be considered, all bidders shall be required to submit a bid on the Bid Proposal form to the City of Aurora, Texas at 320 Derting Rd. Aurora, TX 76078. Any bid received after 12:00 noon on Monday October 27, 2025, will be returned unopened. At this time and place, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. To be accepted, the successful bidder must provide full cash payment of the bid amount at the time of closing.
Bid information may be procured starting September 18, 2025, at 320 Derting Rd. Aurora, TX 76078 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, or may be requested to be sent electronically by contacting Kristi Gilbert at [email protected] or (817) 636-2783.
Pursuant to court order, the Property shall be sold to the highest bidder. The parties shall close on the transaction within thirty days of award of the bid.
Minimum Bid: $50,000.00.
