The Parks and Recreation Board is hosting the first Area 114 Car Show on September 26, 2026 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in the Ballpark. This event will be free for visitors. There will be a bounce house and a live DJ. Food and other items will be available for purchase.

The City is currently accepting applications for volunteers to help support and make recommendations to the City Council regarding the City’s park and ball field space, as well as future recreation and events in the City.
